Hi, I'm Julie!
I guess I'm supposed to tell you about myself, right? ;) Well here goes nothing.

I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia but my heart resides in the state of Indiana where my extended family lives and where I went to college at Ball State University. I love, love, love puppy dogs and it takes everything in me not to take all the shelter pups home on adoption day at PetsMart. Some secret hobbies of mine are site seeing, reading different Young Adult fiction series and home remodeling. I have traveled to many different places including: Australia, England, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Czech Republic, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas (Australia was my favorite). I am a sucker for tattoos and at the moment I have over 10 of my own.

How did I get into photography, you ask? When I was studying abroad in England I shot with a 35mm point and shoot Nikon. At the time I did not realize how much of an impact those images would have on me; but they've made all the difference. To this day I still pull up those images (I had disks made from the negatives) and play around with them in my editing software to re-live those moments. I carried that camera with me wherever I went and took over 30 rolls of film documenting some of the most fun times in my life. Ever since I developed those rolls I have not been able to put down a camera.

Since then I have upgraded significantly to a Nikon DSLR, but nonetheless, my passion and eye are still the same and my love of photography is still strong.
